What is the date and time of the event?

The Coquitlam Craft Beer Festival is being held on Friday, November 3rd from 7:00pm to 9:30pm and on Saturday, November 4th from 12pm to 2:30pm.

Where is the event held?

The Coquitlam Craft Beer Festival is held at the Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club located at 3251 Plateau Blvd in Coquitlam.  We take over both levels of the clubhouse for this fall festival!

What does my ticket price include?

Your entry fee includes beer samples and food samples from all of the participating vendors, however with over 120 brews available it’s not possible to taste everything in the room. Enjoy your sample then use the available spit buckets and water jugs to rinse your glass.

* NOTE: Should any guests arrive at the festival intoxicated they will not be permitted entry and their ticket will be forfeited.

How can I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online beginning September 11th. However if you are unable to purchase online, or if you require assistance, we will also have telephone sales available.  The Box Office hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm.  Call 604-463-1998 to reach our customer service team.  If we are unavailable please leave a message and we’ll return your call within one business day.

How does the e-ticket system work?

The team at the Coquitlam Craft Beer Festival is working hard to make the check-in process at the event quick and easy. Follow the prompts to purchase your tickets online, then make sure to bring your ticket with you to the event either as a hard copy or on your mobile device. The barcodes will be scanned on entry to the event.

Is there a safe ride home program?

Greater Vancouver Designated Drivers (GVDD) can get you and your car home safely.  Visit their website at www.gvdd.ca or call 604-917-0177. Arrangements may also be made on-site to use this service, however it is recommended to book ahead.

Complimentary shuttle service will be available to take guests to the Lafarge Lake-Douglas Station located on the new Evergreen Skytrain line.  The shuttle will be making loops between the venue and the Evergreen Line from 9pm to 11pm (Friday) and 2pm to 4pm (Saturday). No other stops will be made.  Complimentary Compass transit tickets will also be available through the BC Liquor Board’s “Get Home Safe” program on a first-come basis.  Visit the concierge desk on-site for details.

Taxis are not readily available at this venue and have proven to be a challenge to arrange.  It is highly recommended to plan for an alternate way home to avoid any last minute complications in leaving the venue.

Is there a discount for designated drivers?

Unfortunately we are unable to offer discounted designated driver tickets as our event doesn’t operate on a token system.  There will be non-alcoholic beverages available, and guests can enjoy food samples from all of the participating restaurants and catering companies.

Can I cancel and get a refund for my ticket?

The Coquitlam Craft Beer Festival is a charity fundraiser so refunds are not available, however your ticket(s) are transferable.  Contact our customer service team to update the e-ticket with the new guest name by email or call 604-463-1998 (Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm).  Any ticket name changes must be made prior to Monday, October 30th.

What is the age of the guests that attend the tasting?

The event welcomes guests over the age of 19. No minors are permitted at the event (please note this includes babies and infants).  Two (2) pieces of government issued ID will be requested of guests who appear to be under the age of 30.

Primary ID examples include; drivers license, passport, Canadian Citizenship card, and First Nations Status Card.

Secondary ID examples include; credit cards, University/College student cards, or any other card with an imprint of your name and a signature.

Is there a dress code?

Casual or business casual attire is suggested for this event. It’s important to wear comfortable footwear as you will be walking throughout the two story building during the evening.
