/ Everything you need to know
The Coquitlam Craft Beer Festival was created by West Coast Experiences as a great way to support a local charity as well as encourage local beer and food lovers to experience the best BC has to offer.
The unique West Coast inspired Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club encourages the enjoyment of an indoor tour of many different craft breweries, local restaurants and caterers.
The Fall 2018 event will feature brews from over 40 select BC breweries, matched with delicious foods provided by 8-10 top-rated local restaurants and caterers. A complete vendor list will be available on the home page in the late summer. The Coquitlam Craft Beer Festival supports Team Taylor of The Ride to Conquer Cancer.
The Ride to Conquer Cancer, presented by Silver Wheaton benefiting BC Cancer Foundation, is a unique two-day cycling event which will take place in the summer of 2018. During this bold cycling journey, members ride for two days through picturesque scenery. Their vision is clear – A World Free From Cancer. For more information on Team Taylor click here.
What’s new in November 2018
The CCBF team is thrilled to feature an exclusive Women in Beer tasting room at the November festival! What truly makes BC craft beer great is the people. It’s their experiences and their passion that drives creativity and the expansion of locally produced beer.
The Women in Beer theme room will feature; Molly from Coal Harbour Brewing, Julia from the Steamworks Brewery, and Steph from Red Truck Beer. Stay tuned for more amazing women to be added!
In November we will also continue to host a Cask Corner featuring pin casks from a select group of breweries. Vendors include; Main Street Brewing, Russell Brewing, Stanley Park Brewing and the Strathcona Beer Co. Additional casks will be added shortly!
Silent Auction & Grand Prize Draw
During the event guests will have the opportunity to support the Ride to Conquer Cancer initiatives with 100% of proceeds raised going to Team Taylor.
The silent auction always has some exciting items including different gifts and merchandise from some of your favourite breweries.
Details on the grand prize draw for the fall will be announced in the late summer.
* Important note: All fundraiser initiatives hosted at the event are run by volunteers from the charity team. Please be patient as they are still working out systems that work well for what they are trying to achieve. If you have any concerns or feedback feel free to email the beer festival management team and they will forward your comments to the charity team leader to respond to as required.
